indabaXchange is a free and open social network proposed by Indaba-Network.

With indabaXchange you can :

• Create your own page and add texts, pictures, videos, music…
• Start a group with friends to plan/manage a project of social change, i.e. a project developed by a group or a team with the aim to have a real impact on a local community, in one of the seven fields of action of Indaba-Network : Horizons, Planet, Cultures, Liberating Education, Glocal Citizenship, Social economy, Organizations and Networks. You will find various tools to help you in that process: Blogs, for communicating your project and sharing your experience; Events, for planning and organising events and tasks; Forum, for developing discussions on several topics, Chats to communicate in real time.
• Share views, experiences and good practices with friends and other groups through messages, forums, wall comments, etc.

indabaXchange is not a social network focused only on relationships like Facebook or others; our vision is to develop a large network of young activists engaged in building a better world. There are several ways for achieving this goal:

• If you are the leader of an organization, you can use indabaXchange to improve the communication and the planning of your management team: you create a group and you invite the members of your team to join in. You can decide by yourself the degree of privacy of that group. It can be reserved to invited people and kept invisible to other members of IndabaXchange. You can also give to that group the logo of your organization.
• Then, you can invite the local members of your organization to create their own groups within indabaXchange. By this way, you will have created a network of groups and the internal communication and effectiveness of your organization will be strengthened.
• If you are working at grass roots level, by creating a group within indabaXchange, you will also have the possibility to increase the effectiveness of your action with a better communication, a better planning and more possibilites of promotion.

All that is free of charge! Contribute to this great goal, join in indabaXchange, create your group or your network of groups and develop your project of social change.

From indabaXchange, you can, at any moment, come back to the Indaba-Network Website and find the resources and the support you need to improve your action. You can also, on the basis of your experience, contribute to write articles and produce resources that will be published in the Website of Indaba-Network.
