About us

Indaba-Network is a multidisciplinary network of experts in the fields of non formal education, youth organizations and development.

Indaba-Network is based on a very simple idea : in the same way as computer specialists are designing open source software through cooperative work, educators, researchers and youth can work together in order to design and test new educational programmes meeting young people needs better and accessible to all. These programmes can help young people implement innovative projects and contribute to creating a world based on social justice and peace.

Indaba-Network is open to both young promotors of projects of change, educators, teachers, youth leaders and socially committed researchers involved in education, youth policies and values-based democratic organizations.

The mission of Indaba-Network is to:

  • Promote the success of projects contributing to the emergence of a fairer and more caring society, in harmony with nature.
  • Encourage and support young people engaged in actions of social progress.
  • Promote education that liberates, raises awareness and promotes knowledge sharing.
  • Develop a network of experts from various disciplines sharing their skills.
  • Facilitate the emergence of a global consciousness through cooperation between groups and organizations acting in the universal values of human rights.
